Mis obras surgen del acercamiento especulativo hacia posibilidades de existencia arbitrarias, desde donde emergen universos y temporalidades alternas. Me interesa plantear hipótesis sobre otras formas de pensar el lugar de lo humano y los modos colonizantes de aprehender el mundo que hemos heredado.
Me atrae problematizar aquello que aún no está enunciado en el lenguaje, esas morfologías monstruosas que no facilitan la categorización; lo ornamental, la fantasía y la atracción enigmática de lo repulsivo.
Desarrollo esculturas que remiten a la ambigüedad del fósil, a la complejidad de la cristalización y a la degradación de los procesos geológicos. Parto de ficciones paleontológicas brillantes, donde nos vemos inmersos en los ritmos, impulsos y patrones de fuerzas no humanas, sujetos a su autorregulación y sus propios tiempos.

My works arise from a speculative approach toward arbitrary possibilities of existence, from which alternate universes and temporalities emerge. I am interested in posing hypotheses about other ways of thinking about the place of the human and the colonizing modes of apprehending the world that we have inherited.
I am drawn to problematizing that which has not yet been articulated in language—those monstrous morphologies that resist categorization; the ornamental, fantasy, and the enigmatic attraction of the repulsive.
I develop sculptures that refer to the ambiguity of the fossil, the complexity of crystallization, and the degradation of geological processes. I work from brilliant paleontological fictions, where we find ourselves immersed in the rhythms, impulses, and patterns of non-human forces, subject to their self-regulation and their own scales of time
